Sam Hunting

Sam Hunting is the principal of eTopicality. He is an author of the draft ISO Reference Model for topic maps. He was a founding member of, which developed the XML Topic Maps specification, and a coauthor of the XTM 1.0 DTD, the interchange syntax for XML topic maps.

With Jan Algermissen, he is a cofounder of the GooseWorks project, the "pioneering effort" to create open source topic map tools that implement the topic map Reference Model. He is the technical editor of XML Topic Maps from Addison-Wesley, the first book to be published dedicated to Topic maps. He has an MBA from Northeastern University. He is not affiliated with any vendor.
