The ability to change styles have been updated

22 jan, 2003

The xSiteable website has been updated with another style which you can choose at the bottom of each page; a more professional looking website. It uses the exact same content and sitemap, but have seperate templates and styles, a prototypists wet dream.

This is easily done through Templating and Layout and design. A new plain-vanilla style will be added shortly for people to have a nice clean sheet to play with.

Why is this important?

Because you through this can create any type of style for any page on your site through simple means. At the moment we use the drop-down menu to select a style, but this could just as well be a button or link.

"Any type of style"?

Think "printer-friendly", or PDF, or WAP, or SVG, or Flash, or whatever. You are not bound to only one design, one layout or even one output technology.

My other blog

Please note that the this blog is a low-traffic blog where I only write about things of a given importance, when they are important. For a more fast-paced day-to-day blog, there is my other blog with its RSS feed.
